The Great Plains Chautauqua features the Lewis and Clark expedition, the historical context for its undertaking and the consequences of the "opening of the west" for the new nation. Daytime events and workshops for adults and children will be held throughout the week at various sites. The Chautauqua and workshops are free to the public.
