Wyandotte County Lewis and Clark Task Force is selling donor
bricks to raise money for the riverfront park it is building
at Kaw Point, the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri rivers
in Kansas City, Kansas. The bricks will be used to pave the $2
million park's Education Pavilion Plaza, one of several
features that will help commemorate the site where the
explorers camped in 1804 while making their way up the
Missouri River. Prices range from $60 to $250.

days of workshops and presentations featuring re-enactments and
lectures about the Lewis and Clark expedition will begin Friday
in Wyandotte County. Sponsored by the Wyandotte County Lewis and
Clark Task Force, the events will take place at the Wyandotte
County Museum, 631 N. 126th St., Bonner Springs. Scholars and
historians will give presentations on topics including the

Students from state blind school to set out on Lewis and Clark

The article discusses the trip to the Monticello Signature Event by two students from the Kansas State School for the Blind. This summer, 18 teenage students who are blind or
visually impaired will set out on the Oregon Trail, and will return via the Lewis and Clark Trail. According to Eleanor Craig, Discovery Trails Project coordinator at the school, 2004
