Nearly 200 people gathered at the Reardon Center in Kansas City, Kansas to hear Steve Allie, Director of the Frontier Army Museum, speak about the military aspects of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The event was co-sponsored by the Association for the U.S. Army and Society of American Military Engineers. After breakfast, Mike Calwell gave a tour of the Riverfront Park site under development at Kaw Point.
