The Wyandotte County Lewis and Clark Taskforce has formed a Speaker's Bureau to tell the story of Lewis and Clark and to provide information about the Taskforce. Our experienced speakers are willing to share their knowledge with civic and community organizations and schools.

Each speaker brings a unique and different perspective about the men and woman of the Corps of Discovery. If you want to book one of our speakers, call the Wyandotte County Museum at 913-721-1078, Julie Blagg at 913-321-9200, or Dr. Pete Cuppage at 913-631-3055.

Cost is arranged through the host organization and the speaker. The Wyandotte County Museum acts as a clearinghouse.

The Speakers:
Shari Wilson - Chair of the Wyandotte County Lewis and Clark Taskforce, Shari has a vast knowledge and understanding of the activities planned in Wyandotte County and Kansas for the 2004 commemoration. Shari can also discuss the expedition activities at Kaw Point in 1804.
Dr. Pete Cuppage - Dressed in period clothing with a satchel filled with medical remedies, Dr. Cuppage brings the Lewis and Clark expedition alive with maps, a medicine chest and models of some of the equipment.
